Fort Myers Yacht Basin

The Fort Myers Yacht Basin is a marina located in Historic Downtown Fort Myers on the south side of the Caloosahatchee Bridge. This well designed and protected marina is at mile marker 135 on the Okeechobee Waterway, 15 miles inland
from the Gulf of Mexico.

Required Gear

Children must have proper sized personal floatation devices.

Boats 16 feet or larger need a ring bouy or seat cushion.It needs
to be accessible,
not stowed.

Must be in working order.

All boats except those with portable gas tanks and no false floors need extinguishers.

Visual distress signals are required for boats more than two miles from shore, off shore in the gulf, or the middle of Charlotte Harbor.

This is if you're boating at night. If your boat is not equipped, buy handheld lights.
